The Plastec Brake Rotors are manufactured to ANSI/ASTM A48 specifications. The gray iron is cast to SAE J431 Automotive Gray Cast Iron, SAE Grade G3000. Plastec Quality Procedures include 100% inspection for material, structure, dimension and dynamic balance with product trace.

3) Graphite type: 90% of the graphite is lamella, the
remainder is no more than 10%,
lamella graphite is mostly Type “A”

4) Length of graphite: According to ASTM A247 4 grade - 5 grade
5) Pearlite: More than 90%
